Shamrocks, Rainbows, Pots of Gold and in Chicago, an Emerald Green River! After 2 years off, March 12 th , 2022 is looking to be the first sizeable celebration Chicago has hosted post pandemic. We are all looking forward to the vibrancy and nostalgia this holiday brings to rejuvenate our city. What is there to do on March 12th you ask?
I would start my day at Michigan Ave & Wacker for the river dying ceremony at 9am. The hue of green is incredible! Next, a quick corn-beef sandwich from Manny’s Deli and then stop by an Irish Pubs before I head over to Columbus drive to watch the Parade at noon. We all know Chicago’s weather can be unpredictable and on a nice day I’d continue to walk around Grant Park taking in the scenery and architecture of our distinctive & iconic city OR maybe stop by one of the MANY day parties hosted through-out the city!
Like we always say: “Being fresh is essential” and on this occasion it is no different! In preparation for the big day stop by ChiBoys shop or visit us online to get all your gear. Green is a necessity, so here are some options I suggest to stand out:
-ChiBoys 'We are One' star hoodie in electric green or in army green.
-Chicago Tee in army.
-Water Resistant Windbreaker in Black/Camo to protect you from the, always possible, elements.
-We Are One Star Jogger in our Chicago River Green.
St.Patrick’s Day is a day full of luck and prosperity but like Denzel Washington said: “Luck is when an opportunity comes along and you’re prepared for it.” So, get prepared my friends.
